Hi everyone,
Greta here. Yesterday we went to the Blue Mountains. They are about 2 hours West from Sydney. We stayed in a hotel called Lillianfels. They had a swimming pool, a gym and a spa. They also had a billiards room and a reading room. We played snooker in the billiards room. It was a lot of fun.
When we left the hotel, the fog cleared up and we saw a lot of cool things. We saw Govett’s Leap which overlooks the Grose Valley. It had been burned by a bushfire. We also saw the Three Sisters. They are three bodies of rock that look the same (see pic).

We also went to the Megalong Valley and took a bushwalk. There were a lot of flies. They fly around your face and it gets so annoying! There were also lots of anthills. We also saw Lorikeets and a Kookaburra sitting on a wire. When we went to Govett’s Leap we also saw Lorikeets.
Hi Greta! I loved learning to speak Australian and seeing the picture of the Three Sisters. It is interesting how those rock formations formed. The squeepee is still standing. Greta (the dog) likes to pee in there, and Dexter hides. Now it is all wet because it is raining here. I am going to cartooning class. We’re working on the comic pages.
