Hi everyone,
Greta, Jonas & Lena here,
On Friday we went to Jervis Bay which is three hours South of Sydney. Our house was 30 seconds from the beach. We could go down there by ourselves. We swam in the Tasman Sea and the water was mostly warm.
We went to the beach with the whitest sand in the world – Hyams Beach. On the bushwalk back, we saw two kookaburras and an echidna (in the wild). The echidna didn’t show us his beak because he was too scared.
For lunch yesterday we had fish and chips. It was a long time since we have had fish and chips!
What is Jervis Bay compared with dark, rainy, chilly Sweden…?
Most of the floods has gone…but trains and traffic is still a complete mess!
Last week working before X-mas…but…still no winter and snow in sight!
/P
Hi, the sand must of been pretty white. Did you bring any accesories such surf boards and other stuff? Is javas bay as hot as sydney? I couldn’t expect anything else from an echindna the poor echidna

Great pix of Lena as a pink spec on the beach. Beautiful gum tree. Jervis Bay is gorgeous!
G’day Sports
Looks like another day in Paradise for you all! Great photo’s, I’ve never see a Scribbly Gum Tree, it looks like a 1970’s embroidery!
Here we have fog and frost, so it’s feeling quite seasonal at last, we’ll be thinking of you all on Christmas Eve and toast you with a glass of glogg (Swedish mulled wine). Give Mum and Dad lots of love and have a lovely Christmas.
much love Charlie and Johnxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Hi folks, sorry I have been out of touch. My favorite pix are the scribbly gum tree and Jervis Bay which really looks like it’s from another country (which it is) but it doesn’t look like it could exist either on the west nor the east coast of the US so you definititely had to fly all the way to Australia to see it. xo Jean
