Kathryn and Mike here. And so it draws to a close. We’ve had a marvellous time and we wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our friends and hosts in Sydney who have showered us with such generosity and kindness. It has been so wonderful to catch up with you all again after so long – here’s hoping it won’t be another seven years before we meet again.
We also want to thank all the commenters and readers of our blog who have made Postcards from Sydney such fun and helped us stay in touch with those we miss in the US, UK and Sweden. Finally, a big thank you to Shirley who held the fort back home and looked after house, home and cat. Good on ya Shirl!

Dear Aunty Mikey, Kathryn, Greta, Jonas and Lena,
I’m not sure if you’re still reading this blog but I just wanted to say thank you! The t-shirt is absoloutely gorgeous and fits perfectly, in fact I am wearing it right now! I also love the pyjamas. I will take them on our holiday in Noosa which we will be going on in two days. I also like the shoes. They look awesome!
I bought a camera recently which you recommended to me. It’s great and will be very handy.
We found some forgotten bits and pieces here. We have Greta’s Writer’s Notebook (don’t think you could get away with it Greta), a Kath & Kim DVD and Lena’s blue gel pen which I found in my tent. We will send them back as soon as we get back from Noosa.
